Extreme Tagging

Tagging has become the most common way of annotating information and knowledge in a wide range of applications. The activity of tagging consists in creating an association between a resource (information) and another entity (a tag). (more)

Preprocessing

In order to retrieve RDF-triples from a text stream, we have to preprocess texts. Our preprocessing component uses statistical parser from Stanford University and creates a timeline with parsed texts. (more)

Link Recommender for Wikis

Links between pages of a wiki are essential for its success and usefulness in a company. However, the task of creating links is currently not well supported by the wiki systems. The goal of this project is to extend current wikis with functionality which supports authors in creating links. (more)

Lange Nacht der Wissenschaft - Das Semantic Web anschaulich erklärt

"Who the FOAF is Alice?" war ein voller Erfolg bei der diesjährigen langen Nacht der Wissenschaft. Mitarbeiter des Projekts "Corporate Semantic Web" erklärten anschaulich, was das Semantic Web ist und erzeugten mit den Besuchern gemeinsam einen echten RDF-Graphen, der auch weiterhin online erreichbar ist.
