Corporate Semantic Web Day

Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the BMBF Innovation Initiative for the New German Länder - Entrepreneurial Regions, the "InnoProfile - Corporate Semantic Web" (CSW) project took up work at the beginning of February 2008 at the Free University of Berlin.

During this one-day workshop the researchers of the CSW project and their academic and industrial partners will present the results and developments of the last year. The program is organized in cooperation with the Wachstumskern BIZYCLE (funded by BMBF-Innovationsinitiative Neue Länder) which will present their project in the morning and the Berlin Semantic Web Meetup which will take place in the late afternoon / evening.

This workshop offers a comprehensive presentation of projects and research work in different topics, in particular data integration, interoperability, domain specific knowledge representation and knowledge management in the corporate world. Excellent talks from the university research and business provide a broad insight in interesting topics. In addition to the lectures we invite all participants to take part in interesting discussions about relevant open research issues from business and the university research during coffee breakes, lunch and the evening meetup.
